2026 Community Grant - Minor

Before proceeding with this application, please ensure you have thoroughly read the Community Grant Guidelines. It is essential that you carefully review these guidelines to understand the eligibility criteria and requirements for the grant.

Organisations may apply for both Major and Minor grants but can only receive funding from one program during the funding period.

Incomplete applications or those submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

The initial section of this application form is designed to assess your eligibility for the Community Grant. It's crucial that you complete these questions first to ensure your organisation qualifies for the grant before proceeding further.

If your organisation received a Community Grant in 2025 the acquittal must be completed by 26 April 2026 for your organisation to be eligible for any further funding. Council is happy to discuss a variation on outstanding grants if required.

I confirm that the applicant ...

• has read and understands the program guidelines
• is an incorporated community based and not-for-profit group or organisation
• is an unincorporated group sponsored by an incorporated organisation
• is located in (and/or supplies services to) Benalla Rural City 
• does not owe any reports or money to Benalla Rural City Council as a result of previous funding or grants
• has the appropriate type and level of insurance for the activities that are the subject of this grant
• is not an individual, individual business, government agency, political or religious group
• has acquitted previous grant funding provided by Benalla Rural City Council.
